For this reason, the signing of the <strong>United Nations Global Compact<\/strong> is one more step towards the fulfillment of this objective. This pact is the largest voluntary initiative for<strong>corporate social responsibility<\/strong> in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/notejido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Spain_logotype_translation_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6199\" width=\"308\" height=\"104\" srcset=\"https:\/\/notejido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Spain_logotype_translation_1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/notejido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Spain_logotype_translation_1-730x250.jpg 730w, https:\/\/notejido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Spain_logotype_translation_1-768x263.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 308px) 100vw, 308px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Adhering to the Global Compact implies that from NT Designs we are committed\nto align our operations with the <strong>ten principles<\/strong>universally\naccepted in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and\nfight against corruption, and adopt measures in support of the objectives of the\nUnited Nations, currently embodied in the Development Goals\nSustainable (ODS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Human rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 1: companies should support and\nrespect the protection of internationally declared human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 2: companies should ensure that they are not\nparticipants in human rights violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Job<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 3: companies should uphold the\nfreedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to negotiate\ncollective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 4: companies should uphold the\nelimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 5: companies should uphold the\neffective abolition of child labor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 6: companies should uphold the\nelimination of discrimination with respect to employment and occupation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 7: companies should support a\npreventive approach to environmental challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 8: companies should carry out\ninitiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 9: companies should promote\ndevelopment and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Fight against corruption<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principle 10: Businesses should work against\ncorruption in all its forms, such as extortion and bribery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 25, 2015, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: a plan of action in favor of people, the planet, prosperity and universal peace. It has <strong>17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)<\/strong> and 169 specific goals to be developed with a 2030 horizon.
