Diseños NT adheres to the United Nations Global Compact

The Diseños NT business project cannot be understood without social commitment. For this reason, the signing of the United Nations Global Compact is one more step towards the fulfillment of this objective. This pact is the largest voluntary initiative forcorporate social responsibility in the world.

Adhering to the Global Compact implies that from NT Designs we are committed to align our operations with the ten principlesuniversally accepted in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and fight against corruption, and adopt measures in support of the objectives of the United Nations, currently embodied in the Development Goals Sustainable (ODS).

Human rights

Principle 1: companies should support and respect the protection of internationally declared human rights.

Principle 2: companies should ensure that they are not participants in human rights violations.

Job

Principle 3: companies should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to negotiate collective.

Principle 4: companies should uphold the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor.

Principle 5: companies should uphold the effective abolition of child labor.

Principle 6: companies should uphold the elimination of discrimination with respect to employment and occupation.

Environment

Principle 7: companies should support a preventive approach to environmental challenges.

Principle 8: companies should carry out initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.

Principle 9: companies should promote development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Fight against corruption

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, such as extortion and bribery.

On September 25, 2015, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: a plan of action in favor of people, the planet, prosperity and universal peace. It has 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and 169 specific goals to be developed with a 2030 horizon. Annually, from NT Designs we must report our progress towards the achievement of the SDGs to the United Nations Global Compact through a report.
